We are looking for a Business Development Representative with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a focus on organization, and enhanced multitasking abilities. B2B sales and strategic analysis are important aspects of the position, along with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals. The ideal candidate is energetic and a self-starter, has experience with start-ups, financial or retail businesses, researching market trends, targeting relationships and using proven methods to further develop our sales strategy.


  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
  • Understand or gain an understanding of our target markets, including credit unions and mid-size banks, our company, our contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership to ensure that requirements are met
  • Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects
  • Possess a strong understanding of our services, our competition in the industry and our brand positioning
  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on competitors
  • Participate actively in brainstorming, service/product planning, strategizing and overall company future vision


  • BA or BS degree
  • Five+ years proven track record in business sales or related market
  • Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM tools
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Technical skills required to understand and propose solutions by focusing on client requirements
  • Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner through writing, email and in person
